The Carolyn Lykkemark Voice Studio is a boutique creative studio dedicated to assisting vocal artists in the process of unearthing their authentic voice, who they are, through song and beyond.

Offering one-on-one IN-PERSON voice lessons to singers from Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Milton, Etobicoke, and Toronto, Ontario

PROGRAM DETAILS:

Singing lessons are 60 minutes in length
Vocal training in pop, classical, and musical theatre
Year-round registration means you can enroll anytime!
Voice lessons for Adults & Kids (Ages 12 to 120)

Lessons are available:
Tuesday – Thursday: 2 – 9 PM
Friday: 2 – 7 PM
Saturday: 12 – 5 PM

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SINGING LESSONS WITH ME AT THE CAROLYN LYKKEMARK VOICE STUDIO IN MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO OR ONLINE?

The voice is not separate from you.
It is you.

Your singing voice carries with it all of your experiences, your feelings, your dreams, your pain, your body, your mind and your soul. Everything is connected. With this understanding, I make it my top priority to hold space for all of who you are.

Your vocal training will start with you sharing your musical preferences and goals with me so that I may better understand what to focus in on at your lessons.

From that starting point, we will work together once a week, each listening to our own inner guidance as we explore, experiment and refine your singing voice. This will be done through the singing of vocal-strengthening exercises and songs.

Overtime, with consistent practice, you will learn to sing with more and more power, flexibility and freedom, enabling you to sing from your whole heart and soul. As your confidence grows, I will encourage you to take your singing from the confines of the voice studio out to the public. Performance opportunities for you may include voice competitions, song circles, auditions, open mics, karaoke parties, and/or private studio recitals.

Carolyn's an incredible musician and has a thorough understanding of the intricacies involved in singing (she has so much patience with all of my questions!!). 5 Weeks of Studio Closures (Jan, Mar, Jul, Aug, Dec)
4 Flex Weeks (YOU decide)

What is a flex week?

A flex week is a week when YOU decide you will not attend a lesson.

Sick? Car trouble? Overwhelmed with extra work? Going on vacation?

No worries!

Use one of your flex weeks and take the week off!

Flex weeks ALLOW YOU SOME FLEXIBILITY when life gets in the way.

12-MONTH SINGING LESSONS TUITION & PAYMENT OPTIONS

SINGING LESSONS TUITION: $3760

Please choose between:
- Payment in full - $3760 - $185 discount = $3575
- Four Payments totalling $3760 (0% interest)
  - 1st payment upon registration - $1025
  - 2nd payment before the 10th week - $975
  - 3rd payment before the 23rd week - $915
  - 4th payment before the 36th week - $845

TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENT POLICY:

Due upon receipt of invoice.
Preferred form of payment: Bank e-transfer
Alternate accepted forms of payment: Credit card or Paypal

LESSON EXPIRY POLICY:

Lessons expire at the end of your 12-month term, depending on your start date.
Make-up credits cannot be “rolled over” to a new contract.
No refunds for unused make-up credits.
No subbing in of family members to use up unused make-up credits.

EARLY WITHDRAWAL POLICY:

If you are unable to fulfill your financial commitment for the full length of your 12-month contract, the following policies apply:

Enrollment is for a minimum of 13 weeks at a time (a quarter year).
Written notice is required at least 30 days before the commencement of the next quarter of your 12-month contract, depending on your start date.
Less than 30 days’ notice will require full tuition payment for another quarter.
Those who have paid their 12-month tuition in full up front will:
- forfeit the 5% discount, plus any banking charges incurred upon payment
- receive a refund according to these policies.
Depending on which quarter you withdraw, the number of Lessons, Studio Closures and Flex Weeks will vary accordingly:
- 1/4 year: 10 lessons and 3 weeks off (a combination of Flex and Studio Closure Weeks)
- 1/2 year: 21 lessons and 5 weeks off (a combination of Flex and Studio Closure Weeks)
- 3/4 year: 32 lessons and 7 weeks off (a combination of Flex and Studio Closure Weeks)
